Mercer Island Farmers Market: June 26, 2016

Mercer Island Farmers Market
Sunday, June 26th, will be the last Garden Month market at Mercer Island Farmers Market (MIFM). Market organizers enjoy the opportunity to invite garden vendors to make the first month of the season really special. During June they endeavor to provide the Mercer Island community “something special and unique to bring to the table along with the fabulous food our farmers and food vendors provide.”

June 26th will be the last time these vendors will be at MIFM until their Harvest Market in November. Enjoy the sunshine forecast for Sunday while supporting these local artists — some of the items that will be available  include the following:

Live music will be provided by Zach Lombardo. Following June’s Garden Month theme, the activity at the Children’s Table center on Garden Visitors – I wonder if slugs will make an appearance during this activity!

Mercer Island Farmer’s Market: Sunday October 4, 2015

photo by Frances GaulFall is here, as is all the delicious Fall produce and lovely Fall flowers. This week at the Mercer Island Farmers Market, please look for all the ways that your support is essential to this market’s success. You’ve helped grow MIFM into a beloved community event, which is so missed during the off-season. Speaking of which, there are only 3 more market days in 2015!

Live music will be performed by Zach Lombardo at Sunday’s market. You’ll enjoy listening to his acoustic rock and pop tunes as you shop.

Over at the Children’s Table With Judy, kids can help make cider with an apple press. I love it when the new apple crops start rolling in. The fresh cider will be so yummy!

Master Gardeners: Members of Master Gardeners Foundation of King County will be on site to answer questions. Stop by their booth to learn more about gardening best practices and find answers to those tricky garden problems you have been dealing with.

Sunday is also the last registration day for the Fall Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest. Click here to access the registration form. Windermere Mercer Island broker Kathryn Lerner will be one of the judges!
