The Return Buyer’s Comeback Story

The story of the “return buyer” is one to keep our eyes on. These are buyers who endured short sales and foreclosures between 2006 and 2014. Armed with repaired credit and increased financial health, return buyers are starting to dip their toes back into the housing market to take advantage of the lower interest rates for fixed rate mortgages. In Western Washington, where our housing market can be frustrating to buyers, this additional buyer pool may add pressure to our already low inventory.
